Raising Awareness of Telstra’s Access for Everyone Package

Viv Hardy was engaged to gain media coverage on Telstra’s Access for Everyone package that, in 2004 alone, provided over $166 million in assistance to 1.3 million disadvantage Australians.

National and localised media relations resulted in over 65 print articles from 21 May to 10 June 2005. Significant broadcast coverage was achieved on all major national and state news stations including ABC Radio, Sky Business and the Macquarie Radio Network. Another measure of the success of the campaign was the support of more than 23 local radio stations who volunteered to play a Community Service Announcement an estimated 2611 times.
